In the 5th minute, Vladyslav Rogiznyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mykyta Ostroushko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gennadiy Volovyk having to interfere. If Mykyta Ostroushko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Druzhkivka FC Metalist's Gennadiy Volovyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mykyta Ostroushko in the 14th minute of play. Zakhar Cheberyachko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gennadiy Volovyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matviy Savchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Mykyta Ostroushko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mykyta Ostroushko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Druzhkivka FC Metalist's Gennadiy Volovyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mykyta Ostroushko in the 39th minute of play. Matviy Savchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gennadiy Volovyk made a huge save. Matviy Savchenko struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gennadiy Volovyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerch. In the 43rd match minute, Druzhkivka FC Metalist was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsen Rudnyak to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Druzhkivka FC Metalist's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Bayrashevskyi was slow to take the kick. During this time Kerch's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Kerch getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vladyslav Rogiznyi hit a great ball. Gennadiy Levyga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Gennadiy Volovyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 55 minutes, Zakhar Cheberyachko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gennadiy Volovyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gennadiy Volovyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykyta Ostroushko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dmytro Zuyevych could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Arsen Korotkyi made a huge save. Matviy Savchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gennadiy Volovyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsen Rudnyak charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsen Rudnyak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsen Rudnyak hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes, Kerch's Igor Bayrashevskyi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gennadiy Volovyk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kerch reached it. Dmytro Zuyevych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsen Korotkyi having to interfere. Dmytro Zuyevychs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Arsen Korotkyi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Druzhkivka FC Metalist players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kerch.
