Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Rivne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Ruslan Glushko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olexiy Lunenko was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of Rivne booed when Stebnyk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tykhon Miroshnychenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Panas Polivanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stebnyk's Olexiy Lunenko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viktor Bulakh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pavlo Medvedev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavlo Medvedev made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Viktor Bulakh sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Rivne's zone, Olexandr Kalynychenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlo Medvedev came out of the goal and Olexandr Kalynychenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Ostap Ignatyuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rivne's Pavlo Medvedev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olexandr Kalynychenko in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Bulakh got free with Pavlo Medvedev in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olexandr Kalynychenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlo Medvedev having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olexandr Kalynychenko in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlo Medvedev saved Rivne from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stebnyk's Viktor Bulakh got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Gavrylo Sydorskyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stebnyk and the Rivne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Stebnyk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavrylo Sydorskyi to maneuver through the defense. Pavlo Medvedev was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Viktor Bulakh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rivne succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Stebnyk had controlled the match.
