Yuriy Tytarchuk charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Marko Kotlyar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasyljkiv Naftovyk's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Kotlyar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentyn Bridnya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maxym Gonchar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 17th minute of the match Kostyantyn Masnyi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vyacheslav Babych skillfully saved the ball. When Rodion Volodsjkyi fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasyljkiv Naftovyk's protests and gave Rodion Volodsjkyi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vasyljkiv Naftovyk's Rodion Volodsjkyi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Matviy Polyovyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Pylyp Maklakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marko Kotlyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentyn Bridnya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Kotlyar in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olexiy Gubiy in the 37th minute of play forced Vasyljkiv Naftovyk's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Babych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marko Kotlyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxym Gonchar scored 1-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentyn Bridnya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marko Kotlyar to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentyn Bridnya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxym Gonchar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Marko Kotlyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matviy Polyovyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vyacheslav Babych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Olexiy Gubiy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Matviy Polyovyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Vyacheslav Babych made a huge save. Marko Kotlyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olexiy Gubiy in the 87th minute of play forced Vasyljkiv Naftovyk's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Babych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuriy Tytarchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vyacheslav Babych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentyn Bridnya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Kotlyar in the 92nd minute of the match. Vasyljkiv Naftovyk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
