An unexpectedly hard shot by Platon Lemishevskyi in the 13th minute of play forced Trostjanetsj FC Metalist's goalkeeper Andriy Zadoenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Grygoriy Babak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Andriy Zadoenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostyantyn Poterukha, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Fastiv's goal looked a bit too open when Grygoriy Babak came free, but Zakhar Kozoriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
