The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mykola Rybalchenko during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zakhar Bidlovskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mykyta Kornutyak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mykyta Kornutyak scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zakhar Bidlovskyi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Jarydiv Naftovyk getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Yaroslav Zub hit a great ball. Zakhar Bidlovskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mykyta Kornutyak, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zakhar Bidlovskyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Symon Chuchman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Khmeljnyckyj Trudovi Rezervy booed when Jarydiv Naftovyk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olexandr Chayka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Kucheruk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mykola Rybalchenko in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Jarydiv Naftovyk's goal looked a bit too open when Symon Chuchman came free, but Zakhar Bidlovskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Symon Chuchman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakhar Bidlovskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zakhar Bidlovskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mykyta Kornutyak, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Lyubomyr Petryshyn's late challenge caught a Khmeljnyckyj Trudovi Rezervy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lyubomyr Petryshyn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, one of Jarydiv Naftovyk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jarydiv Naftovyk. The referee gave Khmeljnyckyj Trudovi Rezervy a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rostyslav Cherniy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jarydiv Naftovyk's Zakhar Bidlovskyi. 0-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mykyta Kornutyak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mykola Rybalchenko hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 59th minute, but Zakhar Bidlovskyi got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Jarydiv Naftovyk hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mykyta Kornutyak in the 66th minute of play forced Jarydiv Naftovyk's goalkeeper Zakhar Bidlovskyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Mykyta Kornutyak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zakhar Bidlovskyi. Mykyta Kornutyak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 72nd match minute, Khmeljnyckyj Trudovi Rezervy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Mykulyak to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Mykyta Kornutyak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakhar Bidlovskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Jarydiv Naftovyk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mykyta Kornutyak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Khmeljnyckyj Trudovi Rezervy's Rostyslav Cherniy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zakhar Bidlovskyi but with some difficulty. Zakhar Bidlovskyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Symon Chuchman in the 90th minute. When the final whistle sounded Khmeljnyckyj Trudovi Rezervy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jarydiv Naftovyk.
