Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sirius's Vitaliy Skybenko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orest Galandjiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentyn Odyntsov in the 3rd minute of play. Debaljtseve Metalurg's Orest Galandjiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy Skybenko in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Sirius's goalkeeper Marjan Kuchynskyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Bosetskyi. A collision led to Sirius getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valentyn Odyntsov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakiv Nesmachnyi in the 20th minute of play forced Sirius's goalkeeper Marjan Kuchynskyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Kryvyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orest Galandjiy having to interfere. If Borys Bosetskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marjan Kuchynskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakiv Nesmachnyi in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Debaljtseve Metalurg's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy Skybenko came free, but Orest Galandjiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yakiv Nesmachnyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marjan Kuchynskyi having to interfere. Mykyta Virkovsjkyi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mykyta Virkovsjkyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yakiv Nesmachnyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Sirius got a freekick which was hit by Symon Lischuk. When Vladyslav Sushko fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirius's protests and gave Vladyslav Sushko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Vladyslav Sushko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Debaljtseve Metalurg's Viktor Denyak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sirius. If Yakiv Nesmachnyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Vitaliy Skybenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Igor Kryvyi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Debaljtseve Metalurg's Orest Galandjiy. Orest Galandjiy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vitaliy Skybenko kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sirius's Symon Lischuk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Orest Galandjiy but with some difficulty. After 87 minutes, Demjan Grebenozhko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sirius and the Debaljtseve Metalurg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sirius getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Demjan Grebenozhko hit a great ball. After 90 minutes Sirius's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktor Denyak who took care of the corner kick. When Borys Bosetskyi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Debaljtseve Metalurg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Bosetskyi couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sirius eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
