The audience was convinced that Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasyl Medvedev was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. When Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sovet Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Rubizhne FC Chornomorets getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ostap Chornyj hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rubizhne FC Chornomorets's zone, Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasyl Medvedev came out of the goal and Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasyl Medvedev having to interfere. In the 27th minute Mefodiy Kachorenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakhar Khrienko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Oleg Yakovets sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zakhar Khrienko skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Rubizhne FC Chornomorets booed when Sovet Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illja Lozynskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olexandr Vaskovets, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 40th match minute, Rubizhne FC Chornomorets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mefodiy Kachorenko to maneuver through the defense. Vitaliy Melnychuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasyl Medvedev having to interfere. Vyacheslav Maschenko charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vyacheslav Maschenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mefodiy Kachorenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasyl Medvedev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasyl Medvedev having to make a save. Vasyl Medvedev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladyslav Migalevsjkyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Vitaliy Melnychuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Rubizhne FC Chornomorets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Illja Yalovets to maneuver through the defense. Mefodiy Kachorenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute.
