Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Andriy Zmievskyi made a huge save. In the 7th minute Igor Kosyrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiy Fedorchenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Platon Chernysh during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kalynivka CSKA's Platon Chernysh got a free kick in the 9th minute. Panas Sapuga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Zmievskyi having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Kalynivka CSKA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 14 minutes, Roman Viter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Viter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panas Sapuga might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andriy Zmievskyi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panas Sapuga ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Panas Sapuga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Fedir Yarovenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panas Sapuga kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Kosyrin in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiy Fedorchenko saved Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj from getting behind. If Panas Sapuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Andriy Zmievskyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panas Sapuga in the 41st minute of play. If Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panas Sapuga was the one to do the kick off. After 60 played minutes Kalynivka CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Platon Chernysh. A collision led to Kalynivka CSKA getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Platon Chernysh hit a great ball. Roman Yevtushenko, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Panas Sapuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Andriy Zmievskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andriy Zmievskyi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko ran back to his position shaking his head. Andriy Zmievskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Andriy Zmievskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panas Sapuga in the 82nd minute of the match. Panas Sapuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Andriy Zmievskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andriy Zmievskyi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Zmievskyi having to interfere. Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
