Rakowets FC Dnipro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj the free kick. The supporters of Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj booed when Rakowets FC Dnipro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyubomyr Drabenyuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vadym Bilan hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Vladyslav Lukach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiy Fedorchenko having to make a save. If Stanislav Ryabchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Fedir Yarovenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko got free with Vitaliy Ditkovskyi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vladyslav Lukach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's goal looked a bit too open when Vladyslav Lukach came free, but Sergiy Fedorchenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Panas Sapuga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitaliy Ditkovskyi was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Panas Sapuga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panas Gay in the 27th minute of play forced Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's goalkeeper Sergiy Fedorchenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Panas Sapuga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's Panas Sapuga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitaliy Ditkovskyi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rakowets FC Dnipro's zone, Panas Sapuga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitaliy Ditkovskyi came out of the goal and Panas Sapuga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Rakowets FC Dnipro's goal looked a bit too open when Panas Sapuga came free, but Vitaliy Ditkovskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Panas Sapuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Panas Sapuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vitaliy Ditkovskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panas Sapuga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedir Yarovenko kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panas Gay in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiy Fedorchenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitaliy Ditkovskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panas Sapuga, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Panas Sapuga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panas Sapuga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitaliy Ditkovskyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko in the 71st minute of play. Tymur Lyopa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Panas Sapuga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitaliy Ditkovskyi having to interfere. Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko ran back to his position shaking his head. Panas Sapuga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Rakowets FC Dnipro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Gitchenko to maneuver through the defense. Sergiy Kryvoshyjenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panas Gay got free with Sergiy Fedorchenko in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Volodymyr-Volynsjkyj's Panas Sapuga got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
