The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denys Oxymets during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alchevsjk booed when Trushewychi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denys Oxymets didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Alchevsjk defense, Fortunato Sebastiani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tymofiy Mochulyak. The Alchevsjk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tymofiy Mochulyak should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Aurelian Micescu made a precise shot to the right of Tymofiy Mochulyak. Alchevsjk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Trushewychi's Yakiv Zakharevych got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gennadiy Buryi's late challenge caught a Trushewychi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gennadiy Buryi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Alchevsjk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gennadiy Buryi to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Mykyta Mykhayliv made the kick off in the second half. Ghislain Trichard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymur Lutsyk in the 52nd minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ghislain Trichard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ghislain Trichard made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gennadiy Buryi sent off a good shot on target. Vadym Gusak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
