Rostyslav Kovtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkhyp Makhnovskyi in the 9th minute of the match. If Grygoriy Volodsjkyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Vyacheslav Pavlyuchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoliy Gavrylenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Patskowychi Kolos getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Valentyn Khovbosha hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arkhyp Makhnovskyi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rostyslav Kovtun. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkhyp Makhnovskyi in the 39th minute of play forced Novyj Rozdil Helios's goalkeeper Rostyslav Kovtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Novyj Rozdil Helios's Rostyslav Kovtun got control of the ball when Pylyp Grytsenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Vyacheslav Pavlyuchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Grygoriy Volodsjkyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Patskowychi Kolos's Oleg Vasylyuk got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Anatoliy Gavrylenko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Grygoriy Volodsjkyi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Novyj Rozdil Helios fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Patskowychi Kolos a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denys Zakharevych, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Novyj Rozdil Helios's Rostyslav Kovtun. 2-1. Pylyp Grytsenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostyslav Kovtun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pylyp Grytsenko in the 70th minute of play forced Novyj Rozdil Helios's goalkeeper Rostyslav Kovtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Pylyp Grytsenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patskowychi Kolos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pylyp Grytsenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Denys Zakharevych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grygoriy Volodsjkyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Gavrylenko having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Novyj Rozdil Helios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyrylo Khomenko to maneuver through the defense. Denys Zakharevych was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rostyslav Kovtun came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Patskowychi Kolos's Arkhyp Makhnovskyi. But to his dismay, Arkhyp Makhnovskyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pylyp Grytsenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Novyj Rozdil Helios's zone, Arkhyp Makhnovskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rostyslav Kovtun came out of the goal and Arkhyp Makhnovskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rostyslav Kovtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pylyp Grytsenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patskowychi Kolos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
