Pylyp Grytsenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avangard's Denys Gavrysh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkhyp Makhnovskyi in the 34th minute of play. Pylyp Grytsenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Denys Gavrysh made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Pylyp Nerush got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Arkhyp Makhnovskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denys Gavrysh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasyl Pisotskyi to strike the kick off in the second half. Pylyp Grytsenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denys Gavrysh having to interfere. Patskowychi Kolos's Pylyp Grytsenko got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denys Gavrysh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pylyp Grytsenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
