Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andriy Yereschenko took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lev Tymchyshyn during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Volynsk Y got a freekick which was hit by Lev Tymchyshyn. After 6 played minutes Volynsk Y got a freekick which was hit by Illja Ilkiv. Myroslav Kornutyak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lyubomyr Yesyp. Volynsk Y's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Volynsk Y's Illja Ilkiv got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Dynamo Kiev's Yuriy Biskup proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dynamo Kiev from getting a goal against them. Lyubomyr Yesyp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andriy Yereschenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Volynsk Y's Lyubomyr Yesyp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andriy Yereschenko in the 22nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Illja Ilkiv made the kick off in the second half. Lyubomyr Yesyp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grygoriy Selyuk in the 51st minute of play. Volynsk Y's Illja Ilkiv got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuriy Biskup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Illja Ilkiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Vasyl Makhnovskyi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Lyubomyr Yesyp 65 minutes into the match. When Vasyl Makhnovskyi fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dynamo Kiev's protests and gave Vasyl Makhnovskyi a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Volynsk Y lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
