Yuriy Rybak came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Shepetivka's Symon Tarasenko. But to his dismay, Symon Tarasenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lyubomyr Yermolenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyubomyr Yermolenko in the 23rd minute of play forced Shepetivka's goalkeeper Leonid Rak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valeriy Solyanyk fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KTPES's protests and gave Valeriy Solyanyk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Shepetivka booed when KTPES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriy Solyanyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lyubomyr Yermolenko in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonid Rak saved Shepetivka from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gavrylo Sovenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shepetivka's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavrylo Sovenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuriy Rybak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valeriy Melnyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonid Rak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Gavrylo Sovenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavrylo Sovenko struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Yuriy Rybak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shepetivka. After a defensive mix-up in KTPES's zone, Gavrylo Sovenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuriy Rybak came out of the goal and Gavrylo Sovenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, KTPES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gavrylo Sovenko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 47 minutes in the game, Gavrylo Sovenko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yuriy Rybak having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lyubomyr Yermolenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Stanislav Melnychuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lyubomyr Yermolenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Rak having to interfere. Yuriy Rybak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavrylo Sovenko in the 63rd minute of the match. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vyacheslav Deyneka hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Valeriy Melnyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leonid Rak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuriy Rybak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Melnychuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuriy Rybak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavrylo Sovenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Tymofiy Matyyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KTPES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shepetivka the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in KTPES's zone, Symon Tarasenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuriy Rybak came out of the goal and Symon Tarasenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shepetivka had won after a very even match.
