After 11 minutes of play, Henichesjk's Borys Kundel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxym Pylypchuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Platon Turevych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tymur Vykhrystjuk having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Henichesjk's Borys Kundel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxym Pylypchuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Platon Turevych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tymur Vykhrystjuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dzhankoj FC Shakhtar booed when Henichesjk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lev Lavrynenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxym Pylypchuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lev Lavrynenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Platon Turevych managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dzhankoj FC Shakhtar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Platon Turevych was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Grygoriy Symonchuk came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Dzhankoj FC Shakhtar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grygoriy Symonchuk couldn't finish the play. If Platon Rymshyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Platon Turevych reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tymur Vykhrystjuk. The goal made the score 1-2. If Grygoriy Symonchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Kundel struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Maxym Pylypchuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henichesjk. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Platon Turevych to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nazar Dremlyuk fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dzhankoj FC Shakhtar's protests and gave Nazar Dremlyuk a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dzhankoj FC Shakhtar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Maxym Pylypchuk, was totally fooled by Henichesjk's Bogdan Lukach, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 67th minute Platon Rymshyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxym Pylypchuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Platon Rymshyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Platon Rymshyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henichesjk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
