Volodymyr Anischenko hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Marko Lyopa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svyatoslav Checher in the 25th minute of the match. Marko Lyopa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Svyatoslav Checher sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Olexiy Shevel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Lyopa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ternopilj FC Tavrija getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mykola Hlus hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Viktor Buryak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svyatoslav Maruschak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Olexiy Shevel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuznecovsjk's Marko Lyopa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Illja Bondarchuk to strike the kick off in the second half. Ternopilj FC Tavrija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vadym Voznyuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ternopilj FC Tavrija had won after a very even match.
