Tschornobyl Metalist's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Voznyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Viktor Voznyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yakiv Semchenko was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Symon Goncharenko notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Krasnoperekopsjk Lokomotyv's Stanislav Kozyr. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Kutsenko got free with Yakiv Semchenko in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Arsen Ushakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tschornobyl Metalist's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krasnoperekopsjk Lokomotyv the free kick. 92 minutes into the match, Krasnoperekopsjk Lokomotyv's goal looked a bit too open when Olexiy Tymchenko came free, but Stanislav Kozyr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krasnoperekopsjk Lokomotyv's Viktor Voznyi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tschornobyl Metalist fans cheered their team off the field, for while Krasnoperekopsjk Lokomotyv had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
