Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danylo Tsykhmeystruk started the match with the kick off. Yaroslav Vonsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ostap Apryshko having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Yaroslav Vonsyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ostap Apryshko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Danylo Tsykhmeystruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taras Symonenko having to interfere. If Yaroslav Vonsyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Oberemko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ostap Apryshko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stepan Gaydamaka charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stepan Gaydamaka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stepan Gaydamaka hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lubny's zone, Petro Shmatchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taras Symonenko came out of the goal and Petro Shmatchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The supporters of Kivsharivka booed when Lubny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyubomyr Shved didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Kivsharivka defense, Yaroslav Vonsyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ostap Apryshko. The Kivsharivka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ostap Apryshko should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute Petro Shmatchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taras Symonenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petro Shmatchenko in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taras Symonenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Oberemko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ostap Apryshko having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lubny's Igor Oberemko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ostap Apryshko. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. Petro Shmatchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taras Symonenko having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danylo Tsykhmeystruk in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taras Symonenko saved Lubny from getting behind. After 80th play minutes Igor Oberemko shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Ostap Apryshko and just under the crossbar into goal. Danylo Tsykhmeystruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Taras Symonenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danylo Tsykhmeystruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taras Symonenko having to interfere. Lubny's Taras Symonenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danylo Tsykhmeystruk in the 88th minute of play. Igor Skomorokha hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Taras Symonenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danylo Tsykhmeystruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lubny players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
