Anton Khomyn started the match with the kick off. Ruslan Tkachenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Roman Komar made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Pavlo Rybkovskyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grygoriy Vorobey. Shepetivka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavlo Rybkovskyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Anton Khomyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Komar was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Jahotyn FC Metalurg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaroslav Tkachenko to maneuver through the defense. It was a penalty for Jahotyn FC Metalurg! After the first half Jahotyn FC Metalurg were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Doroshenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Khomyn in the 52nd minute of play forced Jahotyn FC Metalurg's goalkeeper Roman Komar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Anton Khomyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jahotyn FC Metalurg's Roman Komar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marjan Gladkyi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jahotyn FC Metalurg's goalkeeper Roman Komar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anton Khomyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Roman Komar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, Shepetivka's Anton Khomyn made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Komar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Shepetivka manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jahotyn FC Metalurg to win.
