Ostap Zapyshnyi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 20 minutes, Anatoliy Kukoba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alushta and the Trostjanetsj FC Metalurg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Alushta got a freekick which was hit by Anatoliy Kukoba. If Valentyn Lashuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lev Solodkyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsen Pinchuk in the 25th minute of play. Ruslan Gayovyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lev Solodkyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsen Pinchuk in the 28th minute of the match. Ruslan Gayovyi struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lev Solodkyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alushta. After 30 played minutes Trostjanetsj FC Metalurg got a freekick which was hit by Matviy Gordya. Arsen Pinchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lev Solodkyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentyn Lashuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Petrenko kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ruslan Gayovyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Solodkyi was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Trostjanetsj FC Metalurg's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentyn Lashuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yevgen Virt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lev Solodkyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsen Pinchuk in the 57th minute of play. Ruslan Gayovyi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Lev Solodkyi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valentyn Lashuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yevgen Virt having to interfere. The supporters of Trostjanetsj FC Metalurg booed when Alushta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakiv Rudnytskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Gennadiy Biba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yevgen Virt skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trostjanetsj FC Metalurg's zone, Ruslan Gayovyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lev Solodkyi came out of the goal and Ruslan Gayovyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruslan Gayovyi got free with Lev Solodkyi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Trostjanetsj FC Metalurg getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Matviy Gordya hit a great ball. The long shot by Lyubomyr Karnoza in the 81st minute really tested Lev Solodkyi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 82nd minute, Arsen Pinchuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lev Solodkyi stood somewhat misplaced when Arsen Pinchuk came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 87 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruslan Gayovyi got free with Lev Solodkyi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alushta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
