After a defensive mix-up in Malyn Metalist's zone, Arsen Khalyavka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olexiy Stavka came out of the goal and Arsen Khalyavka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denys Butenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Arsen Khalyavka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabanilov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsen Khalyavka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonid Stepanenko took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkhyp Rozvora. Arkhyp Rozvora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 21 played minutes Sabanilov got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Korotya. Fedir Balyuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabanilov's Arkhyp Rozvora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vyacheslav Nesteruk in the 25th minute of play. Vyacheslav Nesteruk had several of the Sabanilov's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Arkhyp Rozvora as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leonid Stepanenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkhyp Rozvora having to interfere. Leonid Stepanenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Arkhyp Rozvora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yaroslav Yatchuk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Yuriy Romanenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denys Butenin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sabanilov's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Nesteruk came free, but Arkhyp Rozvora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Vyacheslav Nesteruk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 74th minute, Malyn Metalist's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Denys Butenin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Malyn Metalist's Olexiy Stavka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Malyn Metalist from getting a goal against them. Olexiy Stavka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denys Butenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Malyn Metalist's Leonid Stepanenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkhyp Rozvora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Vyacheslav Nesteruk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkhyp Rozvora. Sabanilov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vyacheslav Nesteruk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 86th match minute, Sabanilov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Balenko to maneuver through the defense. Sabanilov's Arkhyp Rozvora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vyacheslav Nesteruk in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Bogdan Korotya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabanilov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malyn Metalist the free kick. Bogdan Korotya hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Arkhyp Rozvora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vyacheslav Nesteruk in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Malyn Metalist booed when Sabanilov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Kobzar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malyn Metalist's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
