Svyatoslav Gubiy started the match with the kick off. Uzhgorod's Artem Oschypko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentyn Sirko in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Nazariy Bridnya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uzhgorod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rovenjky FC the free kick. The supporters of Rovenjky FC booed when Uzhgorod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazariy Bridnya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valentyn Sirko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artem Oschypko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marjan Bilozir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 16 in the game by Vasyl Gryschuk from a close distance when the talented Illja Kanyuk managed to make a qualified save. Rovenjky FC's players were relieved. Rovenjky FC's Illja Kanyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svyatoslav Gubiy in the 19th minute of play. Demjan Skoropad hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Uzhgorod's goal looked a bit too open when Marjan Bilozir came free, but Artem Oschypko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentyn Sirko struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Artem Oschypko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rovenjky FC. After having played for 40 minutes, Svyatoslav Gubiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uzhgorod's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svyatoslav Gubiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Illja Kanyuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasyl Gryschuk in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Vasyl Gryschuk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Illja Kanyuk, 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Rovenjky FC's goalkeeper Illja Kanyuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasyl Gryschuk. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute Vasyl Gryschuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illja Kanyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Uzhgorod's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marjan Bilozir fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Illja Kanyuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladyslav Grygoryk's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Uzhgorod's goal looked a bit too open when Marjan Bilozir came free, but Artem Oschypko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marjan Bilozir in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artem Oschypko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rovenjky FC's zone, Vasyl Gryschuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Illja Kanyuk came out of the goal and Vasyl Gryschuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vyacheslav Kopyl hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Marjan Bilozir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Nazariy Bridnya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Rovenjky FC's Marjan Bilozir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
