Denys Butenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Illja Kanyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denys Butenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Illja Kanyuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denys Butenin ran back to his position shaking his head. Illja Kanyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denys Butenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes, Denys Kosovskyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabanilov and the Rovenjky FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rovenjky FC's Valentyn Sirko got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marjan Bilozir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkhyp Rozvora having to interfere. When Rovenjky FC's Marjan Bilozir in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabanilov's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Symon Dotsenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabanilov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rovenjky FC the free kick. The supporters of Rovenjky FC booed when Sabanilov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Symon Dotsenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Valentyn Sirko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Leonid Balenko made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sabanilov's Denys Butenin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Rovenjky FC's Valentyn Sirko got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonid Balenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabanilov's Symon Dotsenko suffered a sprained foot after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demjan Skoropad during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sabanilov booed when Rovenjky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demjan Skoropad didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demjan Skoropad in the 77th minute of play forced Sabanilov's goalkeeper Arkhyp Rozvora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabanilov's Arkhyp Rozvora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marjan Bilozir in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Marjan Bilozir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rovenjky FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marjan Bilozir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Sabanilov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Balenko to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rovenjky FC's Viktor Kotyuk got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes of play Rovenjky FC's Demjan Skoropad was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Denys Butenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Illja Kanyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabanilov were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rovenjky FC's much stronger midfield.
