Eduard Moroz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Illja Son's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stepan Rysan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Danylo Lisovyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stepan Rysan having to interfere. Fedir Romanenko hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Platon Sakhno charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Platon Sakhno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Platon Sakhno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Lev Korolchuk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stepan Rysan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Demjan Khalyavka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Illja Son in the 18th minute of play forced Bachchysaraj's goalkeeper Stepan Rysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Platon Sakhno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. The supporters of Starij-Sambir booed when Bachchysaraj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Platon Sakhno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Danylo Lisovyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Starij-Sambir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Illja Son might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stepan Rysan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Illja Son ran back to his position shaking his head. Starij-Sambir's Illja Son got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bachchysaraj's Orest Palyanytsya got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Bachchysaraj's goal looked a bit too open when Illja Son came free, but Stepan Rysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Bachchysaraj's Orest Palyanytsya made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Sushko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danylo Lisovyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Illja Son made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Bachchysaraj's Mefodiy Gorobets got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bogdan Sushko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orest Palyanytsya in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Bachchysaraj's goal looked a bit too open when Danylo Lisovyi came free, but Stepan Rysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Illja Son came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Starij-Sambir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Illja Son couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Starij-Sambir's Bogdan Sushko got control of the ball when Orest Palyanytsya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stepan Rysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Illja Son, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orest Palyanytsya got free with Bogdan Sushko in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Demjan Khalyavka came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bachchysaraj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demjan Khalyavka couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Illja Yarmolenko during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Bachchysaraj:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Starij-Sambir:s goal. Orest Palyanytsya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Sushko having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
