Danylo Lisovyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ivan Litun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danylo Lisovyi in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Litun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Illja Son came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Starij-Sambir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Illja Son couldn't finish the play. Illja Son fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Litun having to interfere. Ivan Litun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danylo Lisovyi in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gennadiy Tsernienko sped through Starij-Sambir's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Sushko. Ivan Litun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Illja Son, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Illja Son got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Ivan Litun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gennadiy Tsernienko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Sushko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Gennadiy Tsernienko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Sushko having to interfere. Yakiv Yarmash's late challenge caught a Dolyna FC Shakhtar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yakiv Yarmash helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Starij-Sambir got a freekick which was hit by Yakiv Yarmash. 48 minutes into the match, Starij-Sambir's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Tsernienko came free, but Bogdan Sushko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taras Korotkyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Sushko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taras Korotkyi in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Yakiv Yarmash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Litun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taras Korotkyi in the 59th minute of play forced Starij-Sambir's goalkeeper Bogdan Sushko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gennadiy Tsernienko might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Sushko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gennadiy Tsernienko ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogdan Sushko made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gennadiy Tsernienko sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Danylo Lisovyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dolyna FC Shakhtar reached it. Gennadiy Tsernienkos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Bogdan Sushko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gennadiy Tsernienko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bogdan Sushko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
