In the 5th minute, Rostyslav Ostroushko made a precise shot to the right of Tymofiy Muravskyi. Bolhrad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tymofiy Muravskyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 30 minutes in the game, Petro Ivanchenko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Volodymyr Levchenko having to interfere. Chervonograd's Volodymyr Levchenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Chervonograd from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kyrylo Vorobets during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bolhrad getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kyrylo Vorobets hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Danylo Sapay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tymofiy Muravskyi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Volodymyr Levchenko made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zakhar Myrnyi sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rostyslav Ostroushko to make the kick off. If Rostyslav Ostroushko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tymofiy Muravskyi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chervonograd's Rostyslav Ostroushko shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Tymofiy Muravskyi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. After some careless play in the Chervonograd defense, Gennadiy Voronchenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volodymyr Levchenko. Petro Ivanchenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volodymyr Levchenko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petro Ivanchenko ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 played minutes Bolhrad got a freekick which was hit by Petro Lyakhovych. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rostyslav Ostroushko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolhrad's Tymofiy Muravskyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Chervonograd booed when Bolhrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Maxymyuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Barylko kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Rostyslav Ostroushko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Chervonograd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Gennadiy Voronchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chervonograd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chervonograd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
