Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gennadiy Salyuk started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruslan Lyakhovych got free with Platon Trotsenko in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Balta's zone, Ruslan Lyakhovych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Platon Trotsenko came out of the goal and Ruslan Lyakhovych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruslan Lyakhovych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Platon Trotsenko having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Ruslan Lyakhovych got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Balta getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olexiy Androsenko hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, one of Brody Metalurg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brody Metalurg. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Balta. Vladyslav Grudnenko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nazar Solovonyuk. 1-1. Olexiy Kalapach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Platon Trotsenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Brody Metalurg's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Salyuk came free, but Nazar Solovonyuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Prodan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Prodan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Platon Trotsenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 58 in the game by Igor Zavershenyuk from a close distance when the talented Nazar Solovonyuk managed to make a qualified save. Brody Metalurg's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Prodan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Platon Trotsenko saved Balta from getting behind. Ruslan Lyakhovych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Platon Trotsenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Balta's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Prodan came free, but Platon Trotsenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Prodan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Platon Trotsenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazar Solovonyuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Salyuk in the 77th minute of play. Ivan Prodan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Platon Trotsenko having to interfere. Ruslan Lyakhovych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olexiy Kalapach hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Nazar Solovonyuk was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Gennadiy Salyuk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gennadiy Salyuk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.
