In the 6th match minute, Viljnohirsjk Metalist was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myroslav Verteletskyi to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Myrhorod FC Dynamo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaroslav Kononchenko to maneuver through the defense. If Roman Mykytin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vasyl Zadorozhnyi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Viljnohirsjk Metalist getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fedir Myzenko hit a great ball. Eduard Kyrlyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaroslav Kononchenko in the 28th minute of the match. Eduard Kyrlyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaroslav Kononchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Myrhorod FC Dynamo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Olexiy Zhadan hit a great ball. Viljnohirsjk Metalist's Anton Yefymenko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Myrhorod FC Dynamo. Mefodiy Krakovskyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Mykytin in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Yaroslav Kononchenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Kyrlyk was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Eduard Kyrlyk made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Nazar Lykholat sent off a good shot on target. Nazar Lykholat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Vladyslav Sokolenko's late challenge caught a Myrhorod FC Dynamo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladyslav Sokolenko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute Eduard Vykhrystjuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mefodiy Krakovskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazar Lykholat in the 71st minute of play forced Viljnohirsjk Metalist's goalkeeper Eduard Kyrlyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Myrhorod FC Dynamo's Mefodiy Krakovskyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Vykhrystjuk in the 73rd minute of play. Eduard Vykhrystjuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mefodiy Krakovskyi having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Myrhorod FC Dynamo's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Vykhrystjuk came free, but Mefodiy Krakovskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vyacheslav Kashuba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Kyrlyk having to interfere. Vasyl Zadorozhnyi charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasyl Zadorozhnyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Viljnohirsjk Metalist got a freekick which was hit by Vasyl Zadorozhnyi. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Yaroslav Kononchenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myrhorod FC Dynamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaroslav Kononchenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Kyrlyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Vyacheslav Kashuba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Myrhorod FC Dynamo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viljnohirsjk Metalist the free kick. After 96 played minutes Myrhorod FC Dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Vyacheslav Kashuba.
