Mefodiy Kozhedub ran over to the corner to take the kick. 17 minutes into the match, Oleksandrija's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Donets came free, but Ostap Dedechko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkhyp Rozgon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ostap Dedechko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Arkhyp Rozgon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ostap Dedechko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazar Gubiy in the 34th minute of the match. Arkhyp Rozgon might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ostap Dedechko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkhyp Rozgon ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes in the game, Gavrylo Kruglyak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fedir Fedorchenko having to interfere. A collision led to Jahotyn Spartak getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kostyantyn Arsenyuk hit a great ball. Fedir Fedorchenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavrylo Kruglyak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Jahotyn Spartak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petro Scheglyuk to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkhyp Rozgon to strike the kick off in the second half. Yevgen Lukach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fedir Fedorchenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stepan Donets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes in the game, Arkhyp Rozgon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ostap Dedechko having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Stepan Donets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ostap Dedechko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavrylo Kruglyak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedir Fedorchenko having to make a save. Myroslav Gamaliy kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Fedir Fedorchenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myroslav Gamaliy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yevgen Lukach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oleksandrija's Ostap Dedechko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazar Gubiy in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Mykhaylo Lukashuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oleksandrija and the Jahotyn Spartak players grew even worse after the yellow card.
