Brody Lokomotyv's Roman Demydenko got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Vitaliy Vovchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Stepan Odolskyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brody Lokomotyv's supporters rose to their feet, but Stepan Odolskyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxym Kychak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panas Zbarakh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ostap Pivnenko having to interfere. Danylo Shved hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Panas Kryvyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ostap Pivnenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Kashuba's late challenge caught a Brody Lokomotyv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Kashuba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Solotschiw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Kashuba to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Brody Lokomotyv's Stepan Odolskyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxym Kychak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Panas Kryvyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ostap Pivnenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panas Kryvyi to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Brody Lokomotyv's goal looked a bit too open when Panas Kryvyi came free, but Ostap Pivnenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ostap Pivnenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stepan Odolskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxym Kychak having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
