Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Demjan Parkhomenko started the match with the kick off. Vyacheslav Fedorchenko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Vadym Ryabovol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Vyacheslav Fedorchenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Demjan Parkhomenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cherkasy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demjan Parkhomenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Symon Zayko struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Olexiy Bredun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherkasy. After a defensive mix-up in Kozjatyn's zone, Symon Zayko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olexiy Bredun came out of the goal and Symon Zayko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lev Gurka during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kozjatyn getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lev Gurka hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cherkasy's Panas Grytsuk tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Kozjatyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruslan Kondratyuk to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demjan Parkhomenko in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olexiy Bredun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Kozjatyn defense, Symon Zayko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olexiy Bredun. The Kozjatyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olexiy Bredun should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Yevgen Garas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vadym Ryabovol, 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Cherkasy's goal looked a bit too open when Yevgen Garas came free, but Vadym Ryabovol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yevgen Garas was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Mykola Lytovchak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cherkasy and the Kozjatyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Mykola Lytovchak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yevgen Garas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Denys Tlumak charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denys Tlumak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Cherkasy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denys Tlumak to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Cherkasy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yevgen Kutsyaba to maneuver through the defense. Tymur Bondar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 60 minutes, Yevgen Garas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cherkasy's Vadym Ryabovol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Vyacheslav Fedorchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kozjatyn booed when Cherkasy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyubomyr Polovkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaroslav Polovkov during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 79 minutes into the game, one of Cherkasy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Kozjatyn. Tymur Bondar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vadym Ryabovol. 3-1. Kozjatyn's Olexiy Bredun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demjan Parkhomenko in the 90th minute of play. Demjan Parkhomenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Oleg Siryk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cherkasy's supporters rose to their feet, but Oleg Siryk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olexiy Bredun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, Kozjatyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lev Gurka to maneuver through the defense.
