Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Poltava FC Stalj's Kyrylo Holovko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Matviy Derypapa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladyslav Kutas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Vladyslav Kutas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nazariy Staruschenko. Alushta FC Tavrija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladyslav Kutas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Mykola Tytarenko made a precise shot to the right of Oleg Draniv. Poltava FC Stalj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 25th minute, Poltava FC Stalj's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mykola Tytarenko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Alushta FC Tavrija's goal looked a bit too open when Vladyslav Kutas came free, but Nazariy Staruschenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladyslav Kutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oleg Draniv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyrylo Perekytnyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Olexandr Staretskyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poltava FC Stalj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alushta FC Tavrija the free kick. 46 minutes into the game, one of Poltava FC Stalj:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oleg Draniv went to the wrong direction when Maxym Zayets was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kyrylo Perekytnyi made the kick off in the second half. Poltava FC Stalj's Oleg Draniv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mykola Tytarenko in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Poltava FC Stalj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lev Bondarenko to maneuver through the defense. The Alushta FC Tavrija fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Alushta FC Tavrija's Kyrylo Perekytnyi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Alushta FC Tavrija defense, Vladyslav Kutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nazariy Staruschenko. The Alushta FC Tavrija fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nazariy Staruschenko should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Kyrylo Perekytnyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oleg Draniv was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Mykola Tytarenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Poltava FC Stalj's Olexandr Staretskyi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nazariy Staruschenko but with some difficulty. With his leg Nazariy Staruschenko managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Poltava FC Stalj's Vladyslav Kutas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 83 played minutes Alushta FC Tavrija got a freekick which was hit by Matviy Derypapa. In the 92nd minute, Vladyslav Kutas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poltava FC Stalj fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyrylo Holovko in the 98th minute of play forced Alushta FC Tavrija's goalkeeper Nazariy Staruschenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alushta FC Tavrija supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poltava FC Stalj's performance. The match ended with a win for Poltava FC Stalj.
