Lyubomyr Galandjiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kyrylo Glushko hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Artem Bogdaniv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Gorobets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Chopyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Bogdaniv having to interfere. The supporters of Ivano-Frankivsjk booed when Konotop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Myroslav Kilikevych didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konotop's Lyubomyr Galandjiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marjan Vovk in the 15th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Artem Bogdaniv successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Konotop's Igor Gorobets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artem Bogdaniv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kyrylo Glushko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyubomyr Galandjiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkhyp Kasyan in the 90th minute of the match. If Arkhyp Kasyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Konotop eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
