Tykhon Koloda struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Borys Chernysh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tschornobyl FC Vorskla. Borys Chernysh was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Marko Illyaschuk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marko Illyaschuk really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tschornobyl FC Vorskla's zone, Borys Glushko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olexiy Gamaliy came out of the goal and Borys Glushko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Illyaschuk in the 24th minute of play forced Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's goalkeeper Borys Chernysh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Chernysh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Illyaschuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Borys Glushko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Olexiy Gamaliy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Illyaschuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Chernysh having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grygoriy Palamarchuk during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Grygoriy Palamarchuk hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vyacheslav Burjakiv, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marko Illyaschuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Chernysh having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marko Illyaschuk made a kick off. When Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's Borys Glushko in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Olexiy Gamaliy guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Borys Chernysh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Illyaschuk in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Kamenezk-Podiskij FC got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Yarmolenko. If Tykhon Koloda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th play minute Marko Medvid came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olexiy Gamaliy. 2-1. 73 minutes in the game, Borys Glushko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Olexiy Gamaliy having to interfere. If Marko Illyaschuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yaroslav Polischuk hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes, Pylyp Shukhevych mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tschornobyl FC Vorskla and the Kamenezk-Podiskij FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tschornobyl FC Vorskla's Pylyp Shukhevych got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Borys Glushko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tschornobyl FC Vorskla's Olexiy Gamaliy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduard Gladiy charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Gladiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
