The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kamenezk-Podiskij FC. Borys Glushko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volodymyr Staruschenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Myroslav Gibalyuk hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy's zone, Yaroslav Polischuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volodymyr Staruschenko came out of the goal and Yaroslav Polischuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's Borys Chernysh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriy Kripak in the 23rd minute of play. When Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's Borys Glushko in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriy Kripak in the 30th minute of play forced Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's goalkeeper Borys Chernysh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaroslav Polischuk during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Valeriy Kripak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriy Kripak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Chernysh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's Borys Glushko in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valeriy Kripak made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Myroslav Gibalyuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Chernysh. Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Myroslav Gibalyuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pylyp Dzyuba kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Marko Medvid recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Volodymyr Staruschenko. Marko Medvid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Myroslav Gibalyuk struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Borys Chernysh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy. Marko Medvid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volodymyr Staruschenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Grygoriy Palamarchuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volodymyr Staruschenko having to interfere. Vladyslav Kondratyuk kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marko Medvid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Volodymyr Staruschenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's Grygoriy Palamarchuk got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Yaroslav Polischuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamenezk-Podiskij FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaroslav Polischuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kamenezk-Podiskij FC booed when Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Rylskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marko Medvid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pylyp Dzyuba to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Valeriy Kripak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Chernysh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volodymyr Staruschenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Glushko, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Volodymyr Staruschenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaroslav Polischuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borys Glushko might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volodymyr Staruschenko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borys Glushko ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Medvid got free with Volodymyr Staruschenko in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alchevsjk Trudovi Rezervy succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kamenezk-Podiskij FC had controlled the match.
