Eduard Gaydarzhy charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Gaydarzhy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lebedyn FC Metalurg's Eduard Gaydarzhy got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute of the match Mykhaylo Skybenko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Vorobey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija's Vladyslav Kundel got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija's Zakhar Shalivskyi got control of the ball when Mykhaylo Slyusar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mykhaylo Slyusar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lebedyn FC Metalurg's supporters rose to their feet, but Mykhaylo Slyusar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakhar Shalivskyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, Myroslav Morozyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lebedyn FC Metalurg the free kick. In the 26th minute, Myroslav Morozyuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija booed when Lebedyn FC Metalurg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Gaydarzhy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija's Rostyslav Malyuk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Danylo Blavatsjkyi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Stanislav Lebedynets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Vorobey was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute Rodion Lupashko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Vorobey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Rodion Lupashko made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lebedyn FC Metalurg's Viktor Vorobey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodion Lupashko made the kick off in the second half. Rodion Lupashko struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Viktor Vorobey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija. Rodion Lupashko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Vorobey having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Zakhar Prytulyak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lebedyn FC Metalurg's supporters rose to their feet, but Zakhar Prytulyak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakhar Shalivskyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mykhaylo Slyusar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zakhar Shalivskyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Kozhedub in the 67th minute of play. Mykhaylo Slyusar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zakhar Shalivskyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykhaylo Slyusar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mykhaylo Slyusar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Mykhaylo Slyusar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zakhar Shalivskyi. Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mykhaylo Slyusar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rodion Lupashko charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 86 played minutes Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija got a freekick which was hit by Rodion Lupashko. Lebedyn FC Metalurg's Kyrylo Klochko got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lebedyn FC Metalurg fully deserved thier win.
