Yevgen Koloda charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yevgen Koloda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yevgen Koloda kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rodion Lupashko struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fedir Poltavets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija. 25 minutes into the match, Slavsk Stal's goalkeeper Fedir Poltavets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislav Lebedynets. Fedir Poltavets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodion Lupashko in the 29th minute of the match. If Stanislav Lebedynets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Slavsk Stal's zone, Rodion Lupashko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedir Poltavets came out of the goal and Rodion Lupashko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Orest Parkhomenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavsk Stal's supporters rose to their feet, but Orest Parkhomenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakhar Shalivskyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Slavsk Stal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Nazariy Yakovets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedir Poltavets having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodion Lupashko was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orest Parkhomenko got free with Zakhar Shalivskyi in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Stanislav Lebedynets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57th play minutes Rodion Lupashko shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Fedir Poltavets and just under the crossbar into goal. Orest Parkhomenko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Zakhar Shalivskyi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Rodion Lupashko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andriy Spivak struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Zakhar Shalivskyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slavsk Stal. Marko Polyanskyi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Stanislav Lebedynets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodion Lupashko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fedir Poltavets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Slavsk Stal booed when Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodion Lupashko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Slavsk Stal's Kyrylo Sotnyk got a free kick in the 80th minute. Rodion Lupashko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fedir Poltavets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Zakhar Shalivskyi managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Slavsk Stal's Orest Parkhomenko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Slavsk Stal's Fedir Poltavets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodion Lupashko in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Krasnoarmijsjk FC Tavrija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mykhaylo Skybenko to maneuver through the defense. Slavsk Stal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
