Volynsk

Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mykyta Virt made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Mykhaylo Chuchman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Volynsk defense, Marko Yermak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavlo Solovonyuk. The Volynsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavlo Solovonyuk should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute of the match Pylyp Pitsur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruslan Matyash showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tymofiy Gay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Ruslan Matyash when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Volynsk's zone, Dmytro Khursa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlo Solovonyuk came out of the goal and Dmytro Khursa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Mykyta Virt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Matyash saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Kyrylo Ovcharenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marko Yermak took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavlo Solovonyuk. Pavlo Solovonyuk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tymofiy Gay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ruslan Matyash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Bogdan Lepyavko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volynsk and the Zdolbuniv players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavlo Solovonyuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mykhaylo Chuchman in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Zdolbuniv were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Marko Yermak made the kick off in the second half. Mykyta Virt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ruslan Matyash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Yermak in the 57th minute of play forced Volynsk's goalkeeper Pavlo Solovonyuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dmytro Khursa came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Zdolbuniv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmytro Khursa couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Volynsk's Pavlo Solovonyuk got control of the ball when Dmytro Khursa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruslan Matyash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymofiy Gay in the 72nd minute of play. Marko Yermak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pavlo Solovonyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Marko Yermak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Tymofiy Gay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volynsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tymofiy Gay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mykyta Virt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volynsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Mykyta Virt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruslan Matyash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Mykyta Virt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volynsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mykyta Virt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pavlo Solovonyuk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marko Yermak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play. Pavlo Solovonyuk was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Marko Yermak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marko Yermak really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The Zdolbuniv supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zdolbuniv would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
