The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Oleg Pyatov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Polonne's Grygoriy Bayrashevskyi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Mykyta Samisjko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oleg Pyatov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olexiy Olexandriv having to interfere. Olexiy Olexandriv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olexiy Olexandriv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykyta Samisjko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oleg Pyatov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Olexiy Olexandriv firmly grabbed it by the left post. Svyatoslav Romanenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Khust Dynamo's zone, Valentyn Shevel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matviy Samisjko came out of the goal and Valentyn Shevel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svyatoslav Romanenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Matviy Samisjko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladyslav Zgurskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matviy Samisjko having to interfere. If Mykyta Samisjko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute Mykyta Samisjko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olexiy Olexandriv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matviy Samisjko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladyslav Zgurskyi in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Svyatoslav Romanenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matviy Samisjko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Khust Dynamo's Matviy Samisjko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Khust Dynamo from getting a goal against them. Mykyta Samisjko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Olexiy Olexandriv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Vladyslav Zgurskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentyn Shevel during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Polonne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentyn Shevel to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes Polonne's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mykyta Chayka who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Khust Dynamo's Mykyta Chayka to fire away a dangerous shot which Olexiy Olexandriv despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matviy Samisjko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladyslav Zgurskyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Khust Dynamo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vladyslav Galchuk hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Vladyslav Galchuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Khust Dynamo's Mykyta Cherednyuk got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Vladyslav Galchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute, Oleg Pyatov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
