The audience thought a goal was coming when Olexiy Davydovych got free with Illja Zakarlyuka in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mykhaylo Tistyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Viktor Taranenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NowyjRosdil CSKA's Viktor Taranenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlo Prizetko in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlo Prizetko in the 14th minute of play forced NowyjRosdil CSKA's goalkeeper Viktor Taranenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mykhaylo Tistyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Taranenko having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Mykhaylo Tistyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Henichesjk FC Vorskla's zone, Valentyn Rurych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Illja Zakarlyuka came out of the goal and Valentyn Rurych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olexiy Davydovych could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Illja Zakarlyuka made a huge save. Eduard Kripak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of NowyjRosdil CSKA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Henichesjk FC Vorskla:s goal. The referee gave Henichesjk FC Vorskla a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gavrylo Dorosh, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of NowyjRosdil CSKA's Viktor Taranenko. 0-1. In the 38th match minute, NowyjRosdil CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriy Stavka to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Henichesjk FC Vorskla's Illja Zakarlyuka got control of the ball when Olexiy Davydovych tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavlo Prizetko made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Henichesjk FC Vorskla's goal looked a bit too open when Olexiy Davydovych came free, but Illja Zakarlyuka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavlo Prizetko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Taranenko having to interfere. With a little luck, NowyjRosdil CSKA's Viktor Taranenko got control of the ball when Mykhaylo Tistyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktor Taranenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlo Prizetko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Olexiy Davydovych got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Taranenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlo Prizetko in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, NowyjRosdil CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vadym Prykhodjko to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Olexiy Davydovych managed to get in a good position for a shot. NowyjRosdil CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Olexiy Davydovych was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Illja Zakarlyuka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Vasyl Kyrylenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illja Zakarlyuka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Taranenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlo Prizetko in the 96th minute of play.
