One of Vasyljkiv Trudovi Rezervy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Slavutych:s goal. Slavutych's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Eduard Marchenko scored to the left of an out of position Olexandr Sereda, making the score, 1-0. Artem Chapko's late challenge caught a Slavutych's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artem Chapko helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Slavutych booed when Vasyljkiv Trudovi Rezervy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Chapko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyubomyr Pylyp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yarema Rakhuba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stepan Kharchenko in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyubomyr Pylyp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Slavutych's Stepan Kharchenko got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruslan Kalynychenko kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Slavutych's Valentyn Koryan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lyubomyr Pylyp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Kharchenko in the 26th minute of the match. Olexandr Sereda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After 47 minutes, Yuriy Stadnyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slavutych and the Vasyljkiv Trudovi Rezervy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Borys Okhrimenko in the 48th minute really tested Olexandr Sereda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 72 played minutes Vasyljkiv Trudovi Rezervy got a freekick which was hit by Igor Siverchuk. Stepan Kharchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyubomyr Pylyp having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Ruslan Kalynychenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Marchenko in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olexandr Sereda saved Slavutych from getting behind. Olexandr Sereda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduard Marchenko went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Artem Chapko made a precise shot to the right of Olexandr Sereda. Slavutych's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Slavutych's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
