Juzhne FC Vorskla's Symon Kundenok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Juzhne FC Vorskla from getting a goal against them. Kyrylo Potjkalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Symon Kundenok read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Symon Vovk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Symon Kundenok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Pisotskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mykola Bayrashevskyi in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Volodymyr Glushko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Myroslav Yaremchuk made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariupolj's goalkeeper Ivan Pisotskyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Symon Kundenok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Symon Vovk in the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Petro Bagnyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juzhne FC Vorskla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariupolj the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volodymyr Glushko in the 95th minute of play forced Juzhne FC Vorskla's goalkeeper Symon Kundenok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mariupolj had won after a very even match.
