When Dzerzhynsjk's Taras Savanchuk in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Vyacheslav Yermolenko saved Dzerzhynsjk from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymur Gomenyuk in the 15th minute of play forced Dzerzhynsjk's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Yermolenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vyacheslav Yermolenko was a little too slow when Tymur Gomenyuk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Tymur Gomenyuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nazar Zgurskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Yermolenko having to interfere. Dzerzhynsjk's Vyacheslav Yermolenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petro Dekhtyaruk in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taras Savanchuk in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mykyta Semchenko saved Sevastopilj from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Yakiv Sotnyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Vitaliy Galyuza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dzerzhynsjk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitaliy Galyuza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tymur Gomenyuk to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nazar Zgurskyi fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sevastopilj's protests and gave Nazar Zgurskyi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dzerzhynsjk booed when Sevastopilj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazar Zgurskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tymur Gomenyuk in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vyacheslav Yermolenko saved Dzerzhynsjk from getting behind. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
