Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuriy Nakonechnyi started the match with the kick off. Marko Perekytnyi made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Olexandr Pisnyi sent off a good shot on target. Igor Gerasymyuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodion Patyak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Marjan Zaburdaylo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Humativ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marjan Zaburdaylo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Gerasymyuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 minutes of play, Humativ's Marjan Zaburdaylo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Gerasymyuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marjan Zaburdaylo got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Igor Gerasymyuk handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Yuriy Nakonechnyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andriy Kushnirov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marko Perekytnyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Yuriy Nakonechnyi rounded Humativ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 44th minute of the match Anton Veretko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Gerasymyuk skillfully saved the ball. Igor Gerasymyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marjan Zaburdaylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marjan Zaburdaylo was the one to do the kick off. Olexandr Pisnyi charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olexandr Pisnyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olexandr Pisnyi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Yuriy Nakonechnyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Perekytnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuriy Nakonechnyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Perekytnyi having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Humativ got a freekick which was hit by Tykhon Balenko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olexandr Pisnyi in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Perekytnyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humativ's Rodion Patyak got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Andriy Kushnirov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marjan Zaburdaylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Igor Gerasymyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodion Patyak, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Marko Perekytnyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Platon Opryshko in the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Platon Opryshko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Konotop and the Humativ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Platon Opryshko hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Rodion Patyak fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Humativ's protests and gave Rodion Patyak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Konotop booed when Humativ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodion Patyak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Humativ defense, Yuriy Nakonechnyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marko Perekytnyi. The Humativ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marko Perekytnyi should have stopped the shot. Konotop's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
