Yarema Samoilenko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gavrylo Lopatyuk firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Yarema Samoilenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Bogdan Stoyko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dniprorudne's goalkeeper Gavrylo Lopatyuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Yarema Samoilenko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Dniprorudne's Gavrylo Lopatyuk got control of the ball when Yarema Samoilenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yarema Dudash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gavrylo Lopatyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yarema Samoilenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavrylo Lopatyuk having to interfere. Yarema Samoilenko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gavrylo Lopatyuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yarema Dudash, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Stoyko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anatoliy Shvets was the one to do the kick off. Anatoliy Shvets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Dniprorudne's Volodymyr Rudnyak threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anatoliy Shvets, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Dniprorudne booed when Ljubotyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Zayets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Zayets charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Zayets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roman Zayets hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Anatoliy Shvets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dniprorudne's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatoliy Shvets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volodymyr Rudnyak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Dniprorudne got a freekick which was hit by Valeriy Korotkyi. The Ljubotyn fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Ljubotyn's Yarema Samoilenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dniprorudne's Gavrylo Lopatyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yarema Samoilenko in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Yarema Dudash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavrylo Lopatyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dniprorudne's Valeriy Korotkyi pulled a muscle in his back after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Vitaliy Shevchuk fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljubotyn's protests and gave Vitaliy Shevchuk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, one of Ljubotyn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ljubotyn. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
