When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Vyshneve FC Zoria's Marko Vaseruk got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Orest Maxymov. Orest Maxymov made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gavrylo Pakholyuk sent off a good shot on target. Platon Sribnyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vsevolod Ushakov having to interfere. The supporters of Brjanka booed when Vyshneve FC Zoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rostyslav Skoropad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Platon Sribnyi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vyshneve FC Zoria's Vsevolod Ushakov. Vsevolod Ushakov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Platon Sribnyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brjanka booed when Vyshneve FC Zoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Pikhur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brjanka's Platon Sribnyi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Vyshneve FC Zoria's Marko Vaseruk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Orest Maxymov but with some difficulty. Orest Maxymov made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gavrylo Pakholyuk sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vsevolod Kushnirov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonid Pikhur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Orest Maxymov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Eduard Skorobrekh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Nikitenko in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orest Maxymov saved Brjanka from getting behind. Vyshneve FC Zoria's Eduard Nikitenko got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eduard Nikitenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orest Maxymov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavrylo Pakholyuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Eduard Nikitenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Orest Maxymov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
