Panas Koziy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lev Zhdaha in the 3rd minute of the match. Lev Zhdaha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panas Koziy having to interfere. Symon Krukovets kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Panas Koziy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsen Migalatyuk in the 16th minute. Nazar Gurskyi scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orest Kobets, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Svyatoslav Zubko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orest Kobets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Papush hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Arsen Migalatyuk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Panas Koziy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rubizhne Metalurg's Orest Kobets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazar Gurskyi in the 30th minute of play. Eduard Rozgon's late challenge caught a Rubizhne Metalurg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Rozgon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Eduard Rozgon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsen Migalatyuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubizhne Metalurg's Lev Zhdaha got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rubizhne Metalurg's zone, Nazar Gurskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orest Kobets came out of the goal and Nazar Gurskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Nazar Gurskyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orest Kobets. Rubizhne Metalurg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazar Gurskyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nazar Gurskyi to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Arsen Migalatyuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubizhne Metalurg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsen Migalatyuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panas Koziy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lev Zhdaha, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Novyj Rozdil getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Viktor Bal hit a great ball. If Lev Zhdaha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lev Zhdaha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Panas Koziy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svyatoslav Zubko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 81st playminute. Lev Zhdaha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svyatoslav Zubko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Orest Kobets made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazar Gurskyi in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orest Kobets saved Rubizhne Metalurg from getting behind. After 96 minutes, Volodymyr Velychko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rubizhne Metalurg and the Novyj Rozdil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Volodymyr Velychko hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Novyj Rozdil walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
