The audience thought a goal was coming when Pylyp Laschenko got free with Pavlo Kobzar in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Tymofiy Tereschenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Humativ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chernivtsi the free kick. Stepan Stankevych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Danylyuk having to interfere. Demjan Kozyr hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Humativ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Golub came free, but Pavlo Kobzar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Pylyp Laschenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 38 minutes, Eduard Golub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chernivtsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Golub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Humativ FC's Tymofiy Tereschenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Danylyuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonid Shybko made a kick off. Pavlo Kobzar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pylyp Laschenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tymofiy Tereschenko hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Chernivtsi's Borys Danylyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Shybko in the 54th minute of play. Olexandr Rudyuk kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Leonid Shybko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Chernivtsi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Leonid Shybko scored to the left of an out of position Borys Danylyuk, making the score, 0-2. In the 62nd match minute, Humativ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myroslav Kardash to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Eduard Golub made a precise shot to the right of Pavlo Kobzar. Humativ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Pylyp Laschenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Danylyuk came out of the goal and Leonid Shybko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
