Tymofiy Kernozenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Znamjanka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myroslav Zaburdaylo in the 32nd minute of play forced Makyiyivka CSKA's goalkeeper Tymofiy Kernozenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Yevgen Yurchenko made a precise shot to the right of Tymofiy Kernozenko. Makyiyivka CSKA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marko Verkhovod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tymofiy Kernozenko having to interfere. Taras Tytarchuk hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Yevgen Yurchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymofiy Kernozenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yevgen Yurchenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Makyiyivka CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Yevgen Yurchenko came free, but Tymofiy Kernozenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Marjan Grygoryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasyl Masnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Znamjanka getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rodion Matlash hit a great ball. When Platon Syvukha fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Znamjanka's protests and gave Platon Syvukha a yellow card for diving instead. Platon Syvukha kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Makyiyivka CSKA's Tymofiy Kernozenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yevgen Yurchenko in the 81st minute of play. Tymofiy Kernozenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yevgen Yurchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yevgen Yurchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tymofiy Kernozenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Znamjanka's Tymofiy Kernozenko threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yevgen Yurchenko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 95th minute of the match Arkhyp Onufryk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tymofiy Kernozenko skillfully saved the ball. Tymofiy Kernozenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Zaburdaylo in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Znamjanka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
