In the 3rd minute Gennadiy Rozlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randolf Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gennadiy Rozlach might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Randolf Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gennadiy Rozlach ran back to his position shaking his head. Randolf Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gennadiy Rozlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kremenec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Salvino was slow to take the kick. During this time LIVERPOOL's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the game, Tim Granerud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Walmyr Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, LIVERPOOL's Bogdan Puchkov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 32 played minutes LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Botelho. Zakhar Balanchuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Rossi having to interfere. Gennadiy Zdebskyi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zakhar Balanchuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Rossi was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Puchkov to make the kick off. Kremenec's Randolf Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gennadiy Rozlach in the 62nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Gennadiy Rozlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randolf Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Kremenec's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Rozlach came free, but Randolf Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Gennadiy Rozlach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kremenec's Arsen Kaznyukha was substituted for Danylo Gay. In the 79th match minute, Kremenec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zakhar Balanchuk to maneuver through the defense. Kremenec's Mykhaylo Gordon was substituted for Iratxo Pascual. Kremenec made a substitution. Mykhaylo Davydenko replaced Zakhar Balanchuk. After some careless play in the Kremenec defense, Gennadiy Rozlach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Randolf Berger. The Kremenec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Randolf Berger should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Kremenec booed when LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes, Kremenec's Angelino Tartalo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walmyr Rossi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kremenec reached it. LIVERPOOL's Vladyslav Yarovenko was substituted for Jeremie Thielemans.
